Built in the 1890’s and renovated in 1984, Rowden Mill Station has been outwardly restored to its original specificatio0ns, while internally it is now equipped for modern living. At a former GWR train station our green Platform 2 houses a train carriage sleeping 4 guests in 1960s vintage style. Situated next to the former cattle dock just along the line on Platform 2, the Saloon Coach is our most recent addition. Thanks to the panorama windows fitted to this former British Railways Inspection Saloon it enjoys a view of the whole station site from the 1960’s styled lounge. Our Saloon Coach has its own dedicated picnic and bbq facilities.

Rowden Mill Station is excellently positioned to explore the Malvern Hills and the Wye River valley, as well as the historic town of Hereford and the ‘Black and White’ villages around Leominster. Bromyard is a 5-minute drive away with extensive market town facilities.

For those who would like to sample the fine food and drink of Herefordshire, we are an ideal place to discover the cider and perry making trails.
