Join us on Monday, 5th May 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM as we come together to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day, celebrating the end of the Second World War in Europe in 1945. This special daytime celebration will be a moment to reflect on the immense sacrifices made by those who fought for our freedom, as well as to celebrate the unity and pride that the VE Day victory symbolises for our community.

The event will feature a delicious free hog roast, providing an opportunity to enjoy some tasty food and great company. There will be fun games for all ages to enjoy, as well as a fully licensed bar where you can raise a glass in remembrance and celebration.

This community event is an opportunity for us to come together in solidarity, honour the lives lost during the war, and celebrate the lasting peace and freedom that followed. Whether you’re coming to share memories, enjoy the festivities, or simply pay your respects, there will be something for everyone.
