Join us for an exciting new event celebrating craftsmanship, creativity, and community in the heart of Hereford City Centre! “Let’s Explore the World of Wood” is a vibrant, interactive experience that brings together traditional woodworking, modern design, and hands-on activities suitable for all ages.​

Whether you’re a seasoned woodworker, an aspiring artisan, or simply curious about the beauty and versatility of wood, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Live Woodworking Demonstrations: Witness expert woodworkers in action, showcasing a variety of skills and techniques.​

The BIG BUILD: Participate in constructing a large wooden playhouse during the event—a fantastic hands-on activity for all ages!​

Artisan Showcase: Explore a selection of handmade wooden creations from talented local makers and craftspeople.​

Interactive Workshops: Engage in activities such as mini-builds and woodcraft challenges, offering opportunities to learn and create.​

Special Exhibitions: Meet Moe the Maker, renowned for his life-size wooden replicas of iconic film and TV characters, and learn about his creative journey.​

Woodcraft Market: Discover and shop unique handcrafted wooden items, perfect for gifts, home décor, or personal collections.​

This event is organized in partnership with NMITE, in association with Oakwrights and Herefordshire Wood Turners, celebrating Herefordshire’s rich heritage in woodworking and design.​
